Where we are
Porxos Garden boasts a prime location in the heart of the city, right at the meeting point of three of its most vibrant areas: the Gothic Quarter, El Born, and Barceloneta.
We are located on the second floor of a spectacular historic building constructed in 1862 (famous for being Picasso´s first home in Barcelona). To preserve its original heritage value, there is no elevator, keeping the authentic architectural essence of the era intact.
Getting here is very easy: from Barcelona Airport, you can take the Aerobús to Plaça Catalunya and connect to Metro Line 4 (yellow line). The Barceloneta station is just a 4-minute walk from our boutique hostel. We also offer easy connections via public transport or taxi from Sants Station and the cruise terminal.
Everything is just a few minutes from your doorstep. We invite you to explore Port Vell, the beach, the Picasso Museum, the Basilica of Santa Maria del Mar, and Las Ramblas on foot, before returning to relax in our garden oasis right in the heart of Barcelona.
